Melt Down

Our giant deep freezer. My own mother. Who knew a day from Satan himself could consist of so much frozen food, and be on a Sunday? Lets start from the begining. Two Sunday's ago, my dad came into my room around eight thirty. I don't like being aroused unnecissarily early, so I was a little perturbed. I was then informed by my father that the stand up deep freezer in our bomb shelter had thawed out over night. I love "the bomb shelter." First of all, its hidden behind a secret door that looks like cubbords. Well, I guess the secrets out now. Second, we call it the bomb shelter, as if terrorists were planning on dropping an A-bom where it will do the most damage.....Fruit Heights Utah. I knew immediatly that this was serious. Here is an equation for you! Deep freezer melt down

1 side of roast beef
6 racks of ribs, 16 Lbs total
28 cinnimon rolls
40 LBS OF CHICKEN
20 Lbs of Rasberries
2 family size sacks of corn
1 pork roast
1 pork tenderloin
12 pumpkin cookies

We sorted out all the food while listening to "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and what I like to call the "OOO child" song my mom always sings. All us kids tried to lighten the mood with jokes of feeding the homeless and being an Oprah special. It was actually kind of fun! The ovens were going non stop all day and my amazing mother got everything cooked and vacuum sealed and back in that freezer.

Lessons Learned:
1. The deep freezer must be shut via body slam
2. In my family, we alway have each other's backs
3. There is hardly a situation that can't be laughed about

Wow. That was it. I feel like freshman year is not really over yet, maybe because I kind of don't want it to be. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being home with my family, my giant bed, sleeping in ect.., but I just feel like the story of freshman year is unfinished. Anyway, the day I moved back was so strange. I felt like I was being wronged. Everyone was taking the things that made room 108 a conglomerate of personalities. The orange spider infested area rug was gone. All of the cute picture frames and decorations were taken from the book shelves. There was no calender on the wall. The quote board was gone. How will anyone ever know how funny we were if the quote board was gone? Well, I guess it had to be done. Of course, I had the most junk. It filled the entire kitchen table and my room. I had no idea I had so much stuff and I don't know where it was hiding. It took my about five hours to get everything together, and that was with my mom's help. She was so awesome to come up and help me do what I am so horrible at....leaving.

These pictures stink. I miss my friends living twenty steps away from me.

I took one for the team when posting this picture. I look like a real wooger, but everyone one else is smilin and looking right at the camera.

This is the moment when I knew I was in love with the boys in 106. They went out and got all of us girls roses on the last day! They are so awesome, I thought it was tender.
Nate, Nate, Nate. What a ladies man.
This is the classic "squeezie hug." Uncomfortably long, intermittent squeezing, possible back rubbing and it wasn't uncommon for a hand to slip down and give ya a pat on the bum. Gonna miss them.

Cute! We were pretty much an inseparable trio.

Love this picture more. We all went cross eyed and didn't even plan it ha ha ha

Oh Landon! If you ever need someone to quote an entire pixar film to you, he is the man to go to. Gonna miss the kid when he goes on his mission!

We are such dolls. Watch out gents, your not going to know what hit ya next year ;)

My moving buddy, I seriously would still be packing stuff up today if she hadn't come and helped me. I have the best mom, so deal with second best world!

Well, as much as I miss being in college, I have loved being home already. I have already gotten back into my family's "movie watching" life style and I am eating it right up. I love seeing my family every day, love having my little brothers wake me up instead of my dumb alarm clock, and not having any homework or studying to get in the way of doing exactly what I want.
